I really liked this no parking sign surrounded by foliage.

Yet another beautiful but not identifiable-by-me flower.

I took this with my old Fuji Finepix a while ago. I set the camera down right on the tracks (obviously) and focused about 10 feet away. I quite like how it turned out - I think it feels pretty good - and it brought something to my attention. A lot of other photographers crop their photos quite a bit to get the perfect frame for their picture. I don't know why, but I do not tend to do that - I frame it up first. Crop is one of the least used tools in my toolbox.

Hrm. I wonder why that is?

I don't know why I like this photo so much - I think it's because of how normal it feels. Just another shot of suburbia.

I had to post this one sooner rather than later because of the whole "moving into a new house" thing.

This is the first photo I ever took with my Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I think it's a tulip and it is from my backyard.

At the university, very early in the morning, looking east onto a red sunrise, the clouds were lit as if they were over a huge fire.

This is Rozanski Hall at the University of Guelph. Possibly not the most interesting thing to break my long photo hiatus with, but there you go.
